Econet engaged Leadership SA to conduct a headcount audit and skills assessment from 25 November to 20 December 2013. The consultants executed the work in a very competent and professional manner as outlined below:

Leadership SA was selected from 9 bidders to conduct the Organisational Design project for the Health Professions Council of South Africa during 2013. In this project, they were tasked to consider the HPCSA new 5 year strategy plan, the impact of the new ERS system, the mandate of the HPCSA, current levels of productivity as well as conducting detailed discussions with every division head to obtain context to what will inform a realistic futuristic structure of the organisation. In this process they have also conducted benchmarking and cost benefit analysis of implementing a new structure in phases in the organisation. They have also identified and defined the new roles that will emanate form the process. Their recommendations are still in a review process by the Council of HPCSA.

The services of Leadership SA where Lydia Cillie-Schmidt and Terry Meyer has driven the project was experienced as being highly professional and they have done a through analysis of the OD project requirements as it was outlined in their initial appointment. Their recommendations were realistic and aligned with the prescribed requirements and outcomes that had to be achieved.

As the Head of HR at the time when they conducted the OD project I could only highly recommend the services of both Terry & Lydia as referred to in this document.

Terry Meyer of Leadership SA facilitated a process whereby we reviewed our current strategy and organisational structure. This exercise was necessary as a result of the acquisition of a sugar mill in KwaZulu-Natal, growth in marketing operations in Swaziland and the current pressured economic environment and changing economic and political landscape.
